On April 23, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, through its The Digital Interdisciplinary and Robotics Institute, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Manufacturing Automation and Robotics Academy (MARA) of the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour. The MOU was signed by Asst. Prof. Dr.Prin Boonkanit, Vice President for Administrative, Research, and Innovation Development and Mr. Somkiat U-ngern, Director of MARA.
Asst. Prof. Dr.Prin Boonkanit stated that today’s world is driven by data, knowledge, and innovation. 21st-century education must prepare the workforce for rapidly changing conditions. Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, as an institution specializing in vocational education, is integrating technology and innovation into its teaching and management systems to foster new ideas. This agreement aims to strengthen the development of skilled personnel for the industrial sector through research and the creation of digital technology curricula in automation and robotics. It will also support skill development and the promotion of modern operational skills to meet the demands of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and Thailand 4.0.
