RMUTP Partners with Hitech and Guizhou Vocational College to Establish “Jing Chiu Institute” and Elevate Education

On April 25, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, through its Interdisciplinary Digital and Robotics Institute, hosted a project on Big Data Analysis and Management, and industrial management tours. Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, officiated the opening ceremony and welcomed executives from Guizhou Vocational College of Industry and Beijing Hitech Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Hitech) of the People’s Republic of China. The delegation included Mr. Cai Zhijian, Chairman of the Guizhou Vocational College; Mr. Zhang Yu, Chairman of Hitech; Ms. Li Liya, Director of the Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Department; Mr. Huang Zongzheng, Deputy Director of the Big Data and Information Engineering Department; Ms. Pan Qin, Deputy Director of International Education; and Ms. Zhou Qixinyu, a lecturer from Guizhou Vocational College of Industry, at the Interdisciplinary Digital and Robotics Institute, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (North Bangkok Campus).
Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul stated that this event is part of a collaboration among the three organizations to exchange educational knowledge and provide academic services to society through the establishment of the Jing Chiu Institute in Thailand. This institute aims to elevate educational standards, produce highly capable professionals in engineering and technology, and prepare them for professional careers both domestically and internationally. The event also featured the unveiling of the Jing Chiu Institute, making Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon the fifth institution to establish such an institute. Additionally, the event included musical performances, a traditional Thai “Khon” dance depicting Hanuman Catches Suphannamatcha, and a Southern Thai folk dance “Nora,” showcasing Thai cultural heritage on the global stage. There was also a tour of the laboratory facilities for educational purposes.
