On July 11, 2024, General His Serene Highness Prince Chalermsuk Yugala made a private visit to the Faculty of Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (North Bangkok Campus). Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, reported on the administration and educational management of the university and led a team of administrators, faculty, staff, and students in welcoming the Prince. On this occasion, Lieutenant General Chainarong Kitrungrojcharoen, Vice President of the University Council, acting as the President of the Council, Assistant Professor Dr. Nattapong Phanthuna, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, and Ms. Arisara Srisongha, President of the Student Union, presented garlands to the Prince in succession.
After that, General His Serene Highness Prince Chalermsuk Yugala proceeded to pay homage to Phra Vishnukarn and visited the North Bangkok Mechanical Engineering History Room Room. Mr. Bandit Panraksa, President of the North Bangkok Mechanical Engineering Alumni Association, provided a report and guided the tour.
The Prince then proceeded to the Fueangphet Meeting Room, where he granted an audience to the university’s administrators, faculty, staff, and students. On this occasion, Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, offered his best wishes and presented a flower vase on behalf of the university. This was in honor of the royal command by His Majesty the King, granting the Prince the title of “His Serene Highness Prince.” The Prince then toured the teaching and learning facilities at the North Bangkok Campus, viewing the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory and the new academic building along the Chao Phraya River. The visit concluded with his departure at 3:21 p.m.
