Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) has signed an academic cooperation agreement (MOU) with Buriram Technical College. Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of RMUTP, signed the agreement with Mr. Phuwadol Mingkwan, Director of Buriram Technical College, to support students’ opportunities for higher education and to develop the institution’s personnel through shared learning experiences. The signing took place at Buriram Technical College on December 7, 2023.
Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul stated that access to education in today’s Thai society is increasingly open and flexible. RMUTP supports learners’ access to the education system by promoting lifelong learning through a credit bank system. This system aims to fully develop learners’ potential, providing them with academic and professional skills, competencies, and desirable qualities. The university focuses on producing and developing a workforce ready to become “integrative innovators” with extensive knowledge, adaptability, and the ability to respond quickly to challenges. This collaboration marks an important step in enhancing the quality of life in the area.
Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul also mentioned that the university is currently accepting applications for the second round of bachelor’s degree admissions under the quota system, with 2,940 seats available across nine faculties:
- Faculty of Industrial Education: 350 seats
- Faculty of Home Economics Technology: 115 seats
- Faculty of Mass Communication Technology: 200 seats
- Faculty of Business Administration: 1,215 seats
- Faculty of Science and Technology: 280 seats
- Faculty of Engineering: 230 seats
- Faculty of Liberal Arts: 250 seats
- Faculty of Textile Industry and Fashion Design: 140 seats
- Faculty of Architecture and Design: 160 seats
