
On May 1, 2025, the Business Incubation Development Unit of the Institute of Research and Development, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, led by Asst. Prof. Dr.Chantana Papattha, Deputy Director of Institute of Research and Development, along with staff, brought student entrepreneurs to participate in the screening of entrepreneurs from the University Business Incubators (UBI) in higher education institutions of the Lower Central Region network for fiscal years 2025–2026, during the 5-month round, 2nd session. The screening was conducted before the committee from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) at the Sakthip Krairit Meeting Room, Chalermprakiet 80th Birthday Anniversary Building, Rajamangala University of Technology Bangkok.
The screening of entrepreneurs from the University Business Incubators (UBI) was organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) to promote and support the commercialization of research results, intellectual property, inventions, and innovations. The initiative aims to foster sustainable entrepreneurship by developing entrepreneurs as Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), creating added value from technology and innovation towards commercial development, while adapting to ongoing changes. The focus is also on meeting the demands of regional and global markets.
In this screening for the Lower Central Region UBI network, seven student entrepreneur teams participated, including six teams at the Pre-Incubation level:
- Green & Grains: Healthy bread products made from asparagus
- Luvember: Air freshener products
- Bubble Bites: Shampoo tablets
- VEGA: Fashion Rental & Upcycling store
- Natural Care: Hand gel products from pomelo peel (Faculty of Business Administration)
- Neri: Bag products (Faculty of Architecture and Design)
One team participated at the Startup Incubation level:
- Yung Mo: Art Toy products (Faculty of Science and Technology)
This participation reflects Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon’s commitment to enhancing the potential of new entrepreneurs by applying knowledge and innovations to sustainably grow their businesses and progress into commercial markets.
