RMUTP Conducts Orientation for New Faculty Members

On June 17, 2024, Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, presided over the opening of the New Faculty Orientation Program, held from June 17-18, 2024, at the Chomnapa Room, S.D. Avenue Hotel, Bangkok. A total of 31 newly appointed university lecturers participated in this program, which aimed to prepare them with the knowledge and understanding of their roles and responsibilities in delivering effective, ethical, and morally grounded education. The program also sought to instill a strong sense of professional awareness in teaching and to foster good relationships and networks among the new faculty members, ensuring they can contribute effectively to the university.

The program featured several engaging lectures and practical sessions, including “Classroom Design Based on KSA Principles” and “Designing Assessment and Learning Management Tools,” delivered by a team of experts from the Innovation Entrepreneur Development Office at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), including Asst. Prof. Dr. Pakorn Supinanont, Ms. Kittiya Wongyai,                    Ms. Thitiporn Marungsi, and Ms. Neeranuch Pikaew, a member of the Innovation Entrepreneur Development Office team at the Knowledge Exchange (KX) of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).

Additionally, there was a lecture on “Higher Education Standards and Course Syllabus Writing” by Ms. Nuchnapa Ruenopchoei, former Advisor on Educational Standards and a highly regarded academic at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI). Furthermore, a session on “Research Grant Applications” was conducted by Dr. Chalakorn Udomraksasakul, Director of Institute of Research and Development
