The government emphasizes the importance of enhancing the potential for SMEs to compete both nationally and internationally. The university established a business studies program focusing on producing graduates with knowledge and skills in various disciplines, nurturing capable entrepreneurs capable of starting new businesses or expanding existing ones. The curriculum covers theoretical and practical aspects, particularly in areas like startup strategies and fundraising. This involves teaching the processes of fundraising for startups within the country and abroad, including crowdfunding, government support, private investors, venture capital, corporate venture capital, and assessing asset values. Moreover, the program includes courses on digital technology for business, innovation and entrepreneurship, statistics for business decision-making, and equips students with skills to adapt to the ever-changing challenges in the digital business world. It shifts from foundational knowledge to entrepreneurial thinking in the digital age.
