RMUTP Signs MOU with Green Energy Equity Investment (China) and Fire Empowerment (Thailand) to Develop Eco-Friendly Fire Protection Technology
On January 22, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Krit Jedwanna, Vice President, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Green Energy Equity Investment Co., Ltd. (GEEI), China, represented by Dr. Lin Huan Ku, Chairman, and Fire Empowerment Co., Ltd. (FEP), Thailand, represented by Ms.Apichaya Thepsothorn, Thai Partner, at the Rapheephat Meeting Room, Thewet Campus, RMUTP.
The collaboration aims to foster academic cooperation in innovation and technology development for eco-friendly fire protection products. The partnership also includes knowledge exchange, research-driven technology advancements, and personnel exchange programs, such as joint study visits and research projects in specialized fields.
GEEI and FEP are leading innovators in high-quality fire suppression foam technology. Through this partnership, the involved parties aim to develop advanced fire protection innovations that are both effective in saving lives and environmentally sustainable. In the future, this technology could replace traditional fire suppression foams that contain substances contributing to global warming and potential health risks for firefighters, ensuring safer and more sustainable fire protection solutions in Thailand.
