On June 20, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), through the Personnel Division, organized the project “Career Pathways for Academic Personnel, Activity 2: Preparing Academic Works and Academic Consultation Clinic,” from June 20-23, 2024, at Mida Grande Hotel Dhavaravati Nakhon Pathom Province. The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nattachote Rugthaicharoencheep, Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Faculty Development
The project aimed to enhance the knowledge and understanding of academic personnel regarding the criteria and procedures for appointing individuals to academic positions according to the announcement by the Office of the Civil Service Commission on the criteria and procedures for appointing individuals to the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Additionally, it aimed to build knowledge and understanding about preparing academic works and to develop the skills, processes, and techniques required for preparing teaching materials and academic works for academic position applications.
The training session was honored by Prof. Dr. Tritos Laosirihongthong., who delivered a lecture on the criteria and procedures for appointing individuals to academic positions, and Mr. Phusit Ploychompoo, Editor of Odeon Store Publishing House, who spoke on techniques for preparing books and textbooks. The Secretariat of the Academic Position Evaluation Committee also provided a lecture on preparing documents for academic position applications, among other topics.
