RMUTP Signs Agreement to Promote Lifelong Learning in University Credit Bank System

Associate Professor Dr. Nattachote Rugthaicharoencheep, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Faculty Development at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), participated in a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on education, labor skill development, credit transfer, and accumulation within the university credit bank system. This MOU was signed between the Department of Skill Development, nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology (RMUTs), and Kasetsart University. The event took place on 1 February 2024, at the Ministry of Labor Conference Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labor Building. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Supamas Issaraphakdee, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), in collaboration with Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labor. Also in attendance were Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, Assistant Minister of Labor, Mr. Aree Krainara, Secretary to the Minister of Labor, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, Dr. Chanphen Mekhapirak, Inspector General of MHESI, Ms. Buppha Rueangsuk, Director-General of the Department of Skill Development, Associate Professor Dr. Sommai Phiwsa-ard, President of RMUT Thanyaburi, Professor Dr. Suwat Thanyaros, President of RMUT Srivijaya, Assistant Professor Dr. Jaturit Thongpron, Acting President of RMUT Lanna, Assistant Professor Dr. Purivat Khampeerapaphap, Vice President of RMUT Bangkok, Dr. Khunanan Sukpassacharoen, Vice President of RMUT Eastern, Assistant Professor Pranom Tangpricha-phanit, Vice President of RMUT Rattanakosin, Assistant Professor Dr. Suwut Tumtong, Vice President of RMUT Suvarnabhumi, Associate Professor Dr. Narongsak Thamchot, Vice President of RMUT Isan, and Dr. Damrong Sriphraram, Vice President of Kasetsart University

The signing of this MOU aims to promote lifelong learning, strengthen society, and align with labor market needs. It seeks to establish a network of partners in labor skill development to enhance the capabilities of the workforce and businesses. This initiative includes educational programs and participation in lifelong learning projects within the university credit bank system. Additionally, it supports the government’s policy to advance the national strategy on fully developing and maximizing human resource potential.
