“On March 10, 2023, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) organized a platform for the competition of outstanding cooperative education student projects under the project ‘Competition of Outstanding Cooperative Education Student Projects,’ led by the Academic Affairs and Development Faculty. The ceremony was honored by Assoc. Prof. Attakorn Sattayapun, representing the acting president of RMUTP, who presided over the opening at the Multimedia Laboratory on the second floor of the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology.
Assoc. Prof. Attakorn Sattayapun emphasized that integrating cooperative education into the curriculum and an interdisciplinary approach with practical work is one way to enhance students’ capabilities. The integration aligns with the educational reform principles that focus on students as the center and redefine the role of educational institutions. The university emphasizes the continuous promotion and support of cooperative education and an interdisciplinary approach to work. This approach enhances graduates’ competencies and quality.
Additionally, RMUTP supports students through competitions for outstanding cooperative education student projects, aiming to foster knowledge and understanding in cooperative education practices. This year, nine projects from four faculties participated: the Faculty of Textile Industries and Fashion Design, the Faculty of Architecture and Design, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Fine Arts. Awards were given for Excellence in Science and Outstanding Technology. Mr. Jirameit Suparat from the Faculty of Textile Industries and Fashion Design received the Excellence in Innovation award for cooperative education. Ms. Kasina Homboonpupa received an honorable mention in the field of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Excellent Management. Winners will progress to compete at the network and national levels.”
