RMUTP Students and Faculty Win Architecture Design Awards at Architect ’67 Event SDG

Miss Siwapriya Klaothanong, a third-year architecture student from the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, and her team (Group 9), in collaboration with architecture students from various institutions, won the second runner-up prize in the 2024 ASA Architectural Design Student Workshop at the Architect ’67 event (ASA EXPO 2024). The event was held from 30 April to 5 May 2024 at IMPACT Challenger Hall, Muang Thong Thani, organized by the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage. In the same project, the Group 3 student team won the first prize, with Dr. Nopadon Klaiwiset, a lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, serving as the group’s advisor.”

Additionally, at the same event, Dr. Sastra Srihabhak, a lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, won the first prize in the general category of the Instagram video contest under the “Shoot/Share/Care/Master Modern: Competition” project. His winning entry, titled “The Round Building,” featured a video presentation of the Round Building at the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, Phayathai, designed by senior architect Amorn Sriwong, a prominent figure in Thai architecture. The competition aimed to honor, celebrate, and promote the work of senior architects who have significantly contributed to the Thai architectural field, in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Association of Siamese Architects Under Royal Patronage.
