RMUTP participated in a meeting with the First Army Area and a network of seven higher education institutions to discuss and monitor the progress of organizing a group from these institutions to attend and welcome the royal visit.

Assistant Professor Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, along with Ms. Mallika Veerasai Director of Student Development Division, and  Mr. Theerapol Chomchuen, Head of Student Activities at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, participated in a meeting with the First Army Area and a network of higher education institutions. The meeting was chaired by Lieutenant General Chitsanupong Rodsiri, Commander of the First Army Area, at the First Army Area Headquarters in Dusit District on July 18, 2024. 

The purpose of the meeting was to prepare for the assembly of higher education institutions to attend and welcome Their Majesties the King and Queen on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 72nd birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024. Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon will lead students and staff from nine faculties, totaling 320 people, to attend the royal event and participate in the candle-lighting ceremony to honor His Majesty the King on this special occasion.
