On January 27, 2025, Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), delivered an inspirational speech and best wishes to RMUTP’s athletes, public relations ambassadors, RMUT STAR contestants, cheerleaders, student leaders, and representatives before they embarked on their journey to compete in the 39th RMUT University Games, “Isan Games.” The competition will take place from February 1–7, 2025, at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI) in Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
In his speech, Dr.Natworapol emphasized the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork, urging athletes to uphold the principles of fair play, respect for rules, and the spirit of competition. He also echoed the event’s motto:”Sports foster friendship, unity among the nine RMUTP universities – Sport for RMUTP Friendship and Harmony.”
The RMUTP delegation is led by Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, and Ms Mallika Weerasai Director of Student Development Division The university will compete in 11 sports categories with a total delegation of 335 members, including:
- Athletes (156 participants) competing in football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, badminton, pétanque, board games, crossword, and e-sports.
- RMUTP STAR 2025 contestants (5 participants).
- Cheerleading team (11 participants).
- RMUTP MUSIC AWARDS 2025 band competition participants (5 participants).
- Student leaders and flag ceremony performers (60 participants).
- Coaches and supporting staff (98 participants).
RMUTP calls upon all students, faculty, and supporters to rally behind the athletes and representatives, cheering them on as they strive for victory and success in the Isan Games 2025.
