RMUTP Awards Certificates to Graduates of the Dispute Mediation Course (Batch 1/2024)

On July 5, 2024, Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of RMUTP, presided over the certificate awarding ceremony for graduates of the Mediation Course under the Mediation Act B.E. 2562, Batch 1/2024. This course, certified by the National Justice Administration Development Committee (NADAC), saw 32 participants receiving their certificates at Rapheephat conference room, 3rd Floor, Rapeepatthanasak Building, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Thewet campus.

During the ceremony, the President also presented souvenirs to the top three scorers of the batch and awarded certificates to the top six participants in post-course assessments. Asst. Prof. Dr. Narong Phophueksanand, Assistant to the President and head of the mediation course project, emphasized the importance of training and developing mediators to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge and skills for effective mediation.

The training was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection, Ministry of Justice, and RMUTP, from May 11, 12, 18, 19, and 21, 2024. The course aimed to promote justice through participatory mediation and establish a public mediation center within RMUTP to facilitate justice for the community.

Disputes are resolved with satisfaction, and Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon has now established a Public Mediation Center within the university to serve as a mechanism for mediating disputes for the public. This initiative aims to provide convenience and speed, promote fairness, reduce inequality, and lead to a more harmonious society in the future.
