Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon participated in the first traveling meeting of the Thai Sustainable University Network for 2024. The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Warin Sootkaneung Assistant to the President for Strategy and Planning, Ms. Rachanee Laksanankur, Head of the Office of the Director of the Institute of Research and Development, and Ms. Chavinee Binkasemen, Assistant Director of Institute of Research and Development, along with 53-member institutions, at Burapha University, Bang Saen and Chanthaburi campuses, from 30 to 31 May 2024. The exchange of experiences and knowledge in this meeting serves as a vital platform for shaping policies aimed at the sustainable development of universities. This includes setting standards for measuring the sustainability of universities, which will be a crucial part of elevating the status of higher education institutions in the country. Additionally, it fosters the creation of a collaborative network among domestic higher education institutions that aligns with the context of international sustainable development. This will lead to the universities becoming key models within society that can be used as benchmarks for expanding similar initiatives to other sectors in the future.
