RMUTP participated in driving grassroots economy and society in the Phranakhon-Kiri Fair in Phetchaburi Province

Associate Professor Dr. Amnat Eiamsam-ang, Assistant to the President for Sports Affairs and Alumni of Ratchamongkol University of Technology, led a team of faculty members and staff from the research and development institute to showcase academic work and present the “U2T for BCG” project at the 36th Phranakhon-Kiri Fair in Phipun Prei Suddhi Chom Rachan’s City of Creation of Thai Cuisine. This event took place from March 17 to March 26, 2023, at the Chaloem Phra Kiat Phra Kiat Park (Ratchaburi IV) in Phetchaburi Province. Mr. Nattachai Namphulsuk, the provincial governor of Phetchaburi, chaired the opening ceremony.
The purpose of this showcase was to pay homage to the great contributions of King Rama IV, V, VI, and IX, who greatly benefited Phetchaburi Province. Additionally, the event aimed to promote tourism in Phetchaburi Province. Ratchamongkol University of Technology participated by setting up a booth to display the U2T project, which aims to elevate the economy and society of each sub-district, “One University, One Sub-district” model. This project was implemented in Phetchaburi Province. The exhibition included demonstrations such as making palm sugar jelly, showcasing student work, and presenting maps featuring tourist routes of various locations like Tha Rap Municipality, the Seven Food Temples, 77 shrines, and 8 legendary eateries that visitors must experience.
