RMUTP swept the top awards at the 14th “Nine Rajamangala Universities United in Preserving Thai Culture” event.

Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, led by Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul and Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, participated in the 14th “9 Rajamangala University Cultural Preservation” event, held from April 4-7, 2024, at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi and Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Under the concept “Echoes of the Land, Honoring the Sky: A Tribute to Thailand’s Heritage, Celebrating the Art and Culture of Suvarnabhumi,” executives from all nine Rajamangala University of Technology campuses participated in the opening ceremony, alongside faculty, staff, and cultural ambassadors. The event was honored by Mr. Praphan Tribubpa, Deputy Governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, who presided over the opening ceremony.

At the event, RMUTP students brought honor to the university by winning three first-place awards and one runner-up award. Among these, the top prize in the solo male Luk Thung singing competition was awarded to Mr. Patthana Netanong, a student from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology, who received a trophy graciously presented by Her Royal Highness Princess Siribha Chudhabhorn. 

First Place in Female Solo Thai Folk Song Performance: Ms. Atchariya Jindawong, Faculty of Mass Communication Technology.

First Place in the Presentation of Best Practices in Student Activities: “Innovative Volunteerism,” under the topic of implementing the PDCA cycle in student activities. They were awarded the trophy by Ms. Supamas Issaraphakdee, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.

First Runner-Up First Runner-Up in the folk song singing competition (group category with dancers), receiving a trophy from the Governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. This event provided a platform for cultural ambassadors from the nine Rajamangala Universities to showcase their unique skills, creativity, and performances in valuable traditional arts and cultural dances, aiming to promote and preserve Thai culture for both the event’s participants and the general public.
