Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon Enhances Firefighting and Life-Saving Skills
On January 31, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), through its General Affairs Division, organized a practical training workshop on Fire Prevention and Suppression Plan 2025. The event was officially opened by Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of RMUTP, and was attended by 250 university personnel. The workshop aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding of fire prevention and suppression, equipping participants with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
Experts from Samsen Fire Station provided training on basic fire suppression, emergency life-saving techniques (CPR), fire evacuation procedures, and practical firefighting exercises. The hands-on training included the use of chemical fire extinguishers with Low Pressure Water Mist technology and the application of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for rescuing victims, led by trainers from ALSOK Thai Services Co., Ltd.
The event was held at D-Hall Auditorium, Office of the President, Thewet Campus, RMUTP, reinforcing the university’s commitment to safety and emergency preparedness.
