RMUTP, in collaboration with the Youth Center of the Thai Red Cross Society, organized a blood donation event titled “Youth Red Cross Blood Donation” as a response to the critical blood shortage crisis. Ms. Malika Virasai, Director of the Student Development Division and university representatives, led a group of 20 personnel from Mahidol University to participate in this meaningful event at the Thai Red Cross National Blood Center.
This event was part of the voluntary service initiative aimed at contributing to humanity by donating blood to save lives and assist those in need of blood for medical treatment. Currently, there is a significant shortage of blood, and this initiative sought to address this pressing issue. The blood donation was also dedicated as a tribute to Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on the occasion of her 44th birthday anniversary.
The collaboration between Mahidol University and the Thai Red Cross Society showcased their commitment to the welfare of society and the well-being of fellow citizens, highlighting the importance of community support and solidarity during challenging times.
